Call for Volunteers: Student Design Competition Committee

Purpose

We are seeking volunteers to serve on the Student Design Competition Committee. This committee plays a key role in designing, organizing, and overseeing IDEC student competitions across multiple formats, including video competitions, design challenges, and collaborative competitions.

Committee members collectively craft each year’s competition, ensuring it reflects current trends and events in Interior Design education and the profession. Members also help manage competition logistics, review submissions, and support the promotion and execution of competitions, providing students with meaningful opportunities to showcase their creativity and design skills.

If you are passionate about fostering innovation and supporting the next generation of Interior Design professionals, we encourage you to join this important committee.

Committee members are expected to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrate leadership and professionalism, and bring experience or interest in design education, student competitions, and innovative approaches to interior design projects.
