Call for IDEC Exchange Submissions: Spring 2025 Issue

Future Focus: AI in Interior Design Pedagogy and Practice

The next issue of the IDEC Exchange is intended to build on conversations started at the 2024 annual conference held in New York City. At conference, attendees had opportunities to learn about artificial intelligence (AI) and to hear from presenters on a range of topics related to AI and interior design education and practice.

For the Spring 2025 issue, the Exchange seeks submissions which will address how artificial intelligence has, or will, change both interior design pedagogy and practice. Given the potential implication of artificial intelligence, submissions can address any number of particulars related to AI from teaching and learning to policy and regulation. Submissions should consider the potential of artificial intelligence in advancing interior design education and practice.
