EMERGENCE: Evolution of a discipline

To emerge derives from the Latin emergere, meaning “bring to light”. Emergence signifies the ending of a difficult time or experience. As we enter 2022 we sense a lifting of the weight of the past few years as we regain our strength to imagine new ways of learning, working, and being. This fall we extend an invitation to share visions for moving forward in our evolution as an academic and professional discipline.
