Meet us in St. Louis for a look into the future of the profession; as we explore potential innovation of our teaching and  the creativity to engage our students in new ways. Our hosts, Maryville University will show us how the city is transforming public spaces, encouraging connectivity and celebrating the pioneer spirit.

 

Thursday October 19:  Maryville University and St. Louis County. 

We’ll start the morning on campus, have a continental breakfast, and have morning presentations.  After lunch and a few more presentations,  we will take an excursion to the Frank Lloyd Wright House at Ebsworth Park, please make sure to register for this excursion. We’ll conclude the day back at Maryville with Jiangmei Wu giving a talk on her installation that will be in our gallery, and this will include wine, cheese, and fruit.  Dinner is on your own.

Friday October 20:   Maryville University and downtown

We will begin the morning back at Maryville, with a continental breakfast, morning presentations and a presentation from our sponsors. After our business meeting and a few more presentations, we will go on a walking tour of new and historic architecture and design in downtown St. Louis.  Buildings of note include Wainwright Building, City Garden, and the newly-designed, near-complete Arch Grounds.  Conference concludes after our tours.
