The ASID Foundation is seeking to award three research grants this year, with each grant not to exceed $30,000. ASID has prioritized two research topics of interest for this year:
Research Topic #1: Designing Humanizing Environments for Imperiled People, creating environments for fleeing people that can better support them in times of crisis.
Research Topic #2: Activating Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Design Solutions, expanding interior design to make it more publicly accessible, available, and achievable for large groups.
